TAXES Any taxes paid to any governmental entity relating to any policy may be deducted from the purchase payment or Account Value when incurred. We will determine when taxes have resulted from: the investment experience of the Separate Account; receipt by us of the purchase payments; or, commencement of annuity payments. We may pay taxes when due and deduct that amount from the Account Value at a later date. Payment at an earlier date does not waive any right we may have to deduct amounts at a later date. We reserve the right to establish a provision for federal income taxes if we determine that we will incur a tax as a result of the operation of the Separate Account.
