Reporting for work definition

Reporting for work means physically coming to the workplace” or, instead, “if telephonic reporting is sufficient for reporting time pay to inure.” (Id. at *2.) The court noted, “The case becomes a question of statutory interpretation: does the wage order require workers to physically come to the workplace in order to report?” (Id. at *3.)
Reporting for work means presenting oneself as ordered – whether by appearing at a job site, logging onto a computer remotely, or phoning in before the start of a shift.

  • Reporting for work while intoxicated; possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage on District property, or in a District-owned vehicle, or working while under the influence of alcohol.

Related to Reporting for work

  • Reporting Subcontractor means with respect to any Person, any Subcontractor for such Person that is “participating in the servicing function” within the meaning of Item 1122 of Regulation AB. References to a Reporting Subcontractor shall refer only to the Subcontractor of such Person and shall not refer to Subcontractors generally.
