Rent Supplement Program definition

Rent Supplement Program means the Strong Communities Rent Supplement Program;
Rent Supplement Program means any of the following: Strong Communities Rent Supplement Program (“Regular”), the Strong Communities Initiative for clients of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (“MOHLTC”), the Strong Communities Special Needs Initiative for clients of the Ministry of Community and Social Services (“MCSS”), the Ontario Community Housing Assistance Program (“OCHAP”) or the Community Sponsored Housing Program (“CSHP”); "rent supplement tenant" means a tenant or household for whom a rent supplement will be paid to the Owner, in accordance with section 5, and to whom a unit has been leased;
Rent Supplement Program means a program administered by the United Counties of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ which provides a rent subsidy directly to Landlords equal to the difference between the Landlord’s allowable rent and the geared-to-income rent paid by the tenant;

  • The Recipient is required to submit the final report for Strong Communities Rent Supplement Program in a form determined by the Province by June 30, 2022.

  • The Service Manager wishes to provide Rent Supplement Program benefits to qualifying households; The Owner has agreed to provide accommodation to qualifying households, on condition that the Service Manager pays to it the difference between the full market rent for the units so occupied and the geared to income portion of the market rent paid by such households; The Service Manager may authorize an agent to administer the Rent Supplement Program on its behalf.

  • This new Housing Benefit will expand the number of households receiving rental assistance in the private market from 1,800 in 2019, under the current Rent Supplement Program, to approximately 2,400 households by 2027-28, an increase of 33 per cent.

  • If he or she is a beneficiary of the Rent Supplement Program, his or her monthly rent cost will then be adjusted in accordance with section 164 of the By-law respecting the conditions for the leasing of dwellings in low-rental housing Act respecting the Société d’habitation du Québec.
