Remittance Contract definition

Remittance Contract refers to the remittance orders taken in whole based on the Customer’s instructions over a period of time under lawful contractual terms;
Remittance Contract means an agreement between the Merchant and Worldpay under which Worldpay makes Remittance to the Merchant. The Remittance Contract shall be executed and come into effect as of the date on which the sales tabulation and Sales Slip, etc. have arrived in Worldpay in accordance with Article 13 Paragraph 3 hereof, and it shall simultaneously give rise to Worldpay’s recourse right against the Merchant. Examples of Remittance Contract in a sentence

  • If Worldpay investigates any event in accordance with item (6) of paragraph 1, paragraph 2, or paragraph 3 of the preceding article, Worldpay has the right to withhold the Remittance until the completion of the investigation, and has the right to cancel or terminate the Remittance Contract if suspicion is not resolved within 30 days of commencement of such investigation.

  • Further, in the event the Merchant have already received the Remitted Proceeds under the Remittance Contract cancelled or terminated, the Merchant shall refund the same to Worldpay.
