Relevant Underlying definition

Relevant Underlying has the meaning given in paragraph 48 below;
Relevant Underlying means the relevant futures contract applicable on the corresponding Interest Determination Date relating to the EURO STOXX 50® DVP Index with the relevant expiration month, as set out below and as described in Annex C (Information relating to the Relevant Underlying):
Relevant Underlying means the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ SmartInvest Equity Index (Price Return) (Bloomberg: MSIQSMDP <Index>). Information about the past and the future performance of the Relevant Underlying and its volatility can be obtained from Bloomberg page MSIQSMDP <Index>.

Examples of Relevant Underlying in a sentence

  • It is possible that while the Relevant Underlying is increasing in value, the value of the Program Securities may fall.

  • In addition, it may not be possible to liquidate the Program Securities at a level which directly reflects the price of the Relevant Underlying.

  • Potential investors should also note that whilst the market value of the Program Securities is linked to the Relevant Underlying and will be influenced (positively or negatively) by the Relevant Underlying, any change may not be comparable and may be disproportionate.

  • The Program Securities may not hedge exactly the Relevant Underlying.

  • For example, investors may have to sell certain Program Securities at a substantial discount from the principal amount or investment amount if the market price or value of the applicable Relevant Underlying is at, below, or not sufficiently above the initial market price or value or if market interest rates rise.

  • The term "volatility" refers to the actual and anticipated frequency and magnitude of changes of the market price with respect to a Relevant Underlying.

  • This depends on the market situation and the Relevant Underlying conditions.
