Relevant Syndicate definition

Relevant Syndicate means in relation to any managing agent, any Order and any
Relevant Syndicate means any of the syndicates listed in Appendix 2D;
Relevant Syndicate. ’ means a syndicate in relation to which an application for consent under paragraph 7 is made or to be made and which is carrying on insurance business during the year of account next before the year of account to which that application relates.

  • The Members’ Agent hereby authorises and directs the Managing Agent on its behalf to enter into a Syndicate and Arbitration Agreement in each year in relation to each Relevant Syndicate with the Managing Agent, every member of that syndicate and every members’ agent through the agency of which those members participate in that syndicate.

  • Subject to any direction under the Act, Lloyd’s may at any time and from time to time direct the Trustee in writing to transfer any funds in excess of the Minimum Amount of a Relevant Syndicate as reported in the latest required notice given pursuant to clause 6.1(a) to the trustees of the Premiums Trust Funds of the members of the Relevant Syndicate or otherwise as directed by Lloyd’s in accordance with the Operational Agreement.
