Relevant Address means the address provided by the applicant in accordance with section 1C(2)(a)(i) of the 1985 Act.

It may be delivered by hand for notices given by the Company, to you personally or left at your Relevant Address, and for notices given by you, to your line manager or Human Resources or by email to the other party’s nominated email address or sent to the party at the Relevant Address. Any such notice shall be deemed to have been received: • if delivered by hand, at the time the notice is left at the Relevant Address or given to the addressee; • in the case of pre-paid first class UK post or other next working day delivery service, at 9.00 am on the second Business Day after posting or at the time recorded by the delivery service; • if delivered by email, at the time of sending the email A notice shall have effect from the earlier of its actual or deemed receipt by the addressee. For the purpose of calculating deemed receipt: • all references to time are to local time in the place of deemed receipt; and • if deemed receipt would not occur on a Business Day, receipt is deemed to take place at 9.00 am on the next Business Day. This clause does not apply to the service of any proceedings or other documents in any legal action or, where applicable, any arbitration or other method of dispute resolution.
