Releasing Persons definition

Releasing Persons means Representative Plaintiffs, all Class Members who do not properly and timely opt out of the Settlement Class, and their respective spouses, family members, executors, representatives, administrators, guardians, wards, heirs, attorneys-in-fact, estates, bankruptcy estates, bankruptcy trustees, successors, predecessors, attorneys, agents and assigns, and all those who claim through them or who assert claims (or could assert claims) on their behalf.
Releasing Persons means the Class Representatives on behalf of themselves and all Settlement Class Members, each Settlement Class Member, and the respective heirs, administrators, representatives, attorneys, agents, partners, successors, insurers and assigns of each Class Representative and Settlement Class Member.

Examples of Releasing Persons in a sentence

  • The Releasing Persons shall be deemed to have knowingly and voluntarily waived and relinquished all rights and benefits afforded by California Civil Code Section 1542, and by any comparable statutory provision or common law rule that provides, in sum or substance, that a general release does not extend to claims which the party does not know or suspect to exist in its favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by it must have materially affected the settlement.


More Definitions of Releasing Persons

Releasing Persons means, collectively, all of the Releasing Plaintiff Persons and all of the Releasing Defendant Persons.
Releasing Persons means Xxxxx, Xxxxxx Bonilla, Yee, and each Class Member and any Person claiming by or through each Class member, including but not limited to spouses, children, wards, heirs, devisees, legatees, invitees, employees, associates, co-owners, attorneys, agents, administrators, predecessors, successors, assignees, representatives of any kind, shareholders, partners, directors, or affiliates.
Releasing Persons means Plaintiffs, all Settlement Class Members, and anyone claiming through them such as heirs, administrators, successors, and assigns.
Releasing Persons has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).
Releasing Persons means (i) the Named Plaintiffs, on behalf of themselves and all Settlement Class Members, (ii) all Settlement Class Members, and (iii) the respective past, present, and future administrators, agents, assigns, attorneys, executors, heirs, partners, personal representatives, spouses, insurers, immediate families, predecessors-in-interest and successors of each of the Named Plaintiffs and Settlement Class Members.
