The University policies and procedures to be revised include, but are not limited to: the Sexual Misconduct, Sexual and Relationship Violence, and Stalking Policy (Policy 406.5); the Sexual Harassment Policy (Policy 406.5.1); the Discrimination Grievance Policy (Policy 407.1); the Discrimination Grievance Procedures; the University’s Equal Opportunity Policy/Non-Discrimination Policy (Policy No. 406.4); the Appeals Policy (Policy 203.5.2); and the Student Conduct Code.
The Employer and Union are both subject to the University Anti-Discrimination Policy, which includes the Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct (RVSM) Policy.

Grievances filed over issues within the scope of the University’s Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct Policy, Anti-Discrimination Policy or successor to those policies must be presented no later than sixty (60) days following the issuance of the final report or other final disposition by the University’s Office of Institutional Equity or other office with authority to investigate complaints arising under those policies.
Exceptions to this 40 day timeline include: ○ Grievances about hours of work disputes can be filed up to 40 days after the end of the semester in which the dispute occurred ○ If it is being investigated by the MSU Office for Institutional Equity (OIE), a grievance related to the university’s Anti-Discrimination Policy (including the Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct Policy) can be filed up to 60 days after you have received the final investigation report from OIE.
I understand that I am required to comply with Ohio University Policy 03.004: Sexual Misconduct, Relationship Violence, and Stalking (▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/policy/03-004.html), including the requirement to report sexual misconduct to the Office of Equity and Civil Rights Compliance.
The program began in 2014 as a collaboration between the FSL students, staff persons and the Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence (SARV) prevention program to support the FSL community regarding these matters and to provide strategies to prevent harm, understand reporting options and provide access to supportive resources and services.
The Employer and the Union shall adhere to the anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies, including the Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct (RVSM) Policy, adopted by the University and the Board of Trustees and to applicable federal, state, and local anti- discrimination laws and regulations.
The time frame in the previous sentence shall be six (6) years in cases of discipline arising from violations of the University Policy on Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct and Title IX Policy and/or the Anti-Discrimination Policy.
