Reinterment definition

Reinterment means to rebury remains.
Reinterment means the ritual aspect of reburial that is conducted under strict cultural rules of practice by a traditional religious practitioner.

Examples of Reinterment in a sentence

  • The remains shall be covered and/or protected in place in such a way that minimizes further exposure of and damage to the remains, and the USCG shall immediately consult with the SHPO and the Intertribal Reinterment Committee in compliance with North Dakota Century Code 23-06-27 and the North Dakota Administrative Code 40- 02-03.

  • Re-interment in an appropriate and respectful manner shall be considered the normal treatment of human remains removed from their original burial locations.

  • The Repatriation and Reinterment Fund is created in the State treasury.

  • The proceeds of the sales at auction shall be deposited in the Repatriation and Reinterment Fund.
