Regional Occupational Program definition

Regional Occupational Program means a vocational or technical training program and or career technical education program as described in Section 52303 of the Education Code, whether classes are held at a local school site or building or other facility located thereon and used for the conduct of regional occupational programs, including classes held on the campus of a community college district or other location designated for the purpose of providing career technical education programs.
Regional Occupational Program. A public program which provides high school students and adults free important occupational skills.
Regional Occupational Program as used in this chapter, means a sequence of career technical or technical training programs that meet the criteria and standards of instructional programs in regional occupa- tional centers and are conducted in a variety of physical facilities that are not necessarily situated in one single plant or site.

  • In addition to the participation of the FRC partner agencies, local Miscellaneous Order Number 534.3 specifies that multidisciplinary services team composition include at least two (2) members from the following: Orange County Probation Department, Orange County Health Care Agency, Orange County Department of Education, Regional Center of Orange County, North Orange County Regional Occupational Program, and Orange County Social Services Agency.

  • Regional Occupational Program (ROP) – Programs designed to provide vocational and occupational instruction and services to prepare youth (16 years of age and older) and adults for successful careers in response to the needs of the local labor market.
