recycling process means any recycling operation of waste batteries, excluding sorting or preparation for recycling, that may be carried out in a single or several permitted facilities;
recycling process means a sequence of unit operations that is intended to manufacture recycled plastic materials and articles through pre-processing, a decontamination process, and post-processing, and which is based on a specific recycling technology;
recycling process means the series of activities, including collection, separation, and processing, by which products or other materials are recovered from or otherwise diverted from the Solid Waste stream: (1) for use in the form of raw materials in the manufacture of new products other than fuel, and (2) in the case of Source Separated wood waste which has no material use, for use as fuel. “Recycling” includes Anaerobic Digestion, Vermicomposting or Composting of Source Separated organics but not composting of mixed waste.
