Recruit Training definition

Recruit Training means the training delivered to an Employee during a 16 week (18 weeks if the period includes the Christmas/New Year period) residential course at the RNZPC as set out in the Schedule 1 Academic Regulations. In addition, Recruit Training includes 3 days (8 hours each day) of learning completed by the Recruit from their usual place of residence, immediately prior to attending RNZPC. The training requirements set out in Schedule 1 involve a mixture of learning opportunities, including written examinations and tests, oral and other assessments and practical tests

Examples of Recruit Training in a sentence

  • New recruits while attending Ontario Police College for Basic Recruit Training are not entitled to this provision.

  • It is understood that the repayment plan will be based on the Recruit Training Course fee at the time of the recruit’s enrolment in the course as set by the Ontario Police College.

  • It is understood that the Service will pay on behalf of the recruit, the costs of the Recruit Training Course on the understanding the recruit will fully reimburse the Service.

  • It is understood that recruits assigned to attend the Recruit Training Course be allowed an additional option of commencing their payroll deduction during the first complete pay period after being sworn in as a Fourth Class Constable.

  • The Association and the City agree that the mandatory aspects of the Fitness Program came into effect on September 5, 1989 and apply to all members in Recruit Training commencing on September 11, 1989 and all subsequent Police Officers who are hired after that date.

  • Members assigned to the Recruit Training Academy and required to wear khaki cotton clothing shall not be considered as uniform personnel for purposes of the cleaning allowance contained in this Article.

  • A member required to assume the responsibility of Coach Officer under the Ontario Police College Recruit Training Program, or any other Recruit Training Program, shall receive one (1) block (6) days of non-cashable lieu days.

  • Upon successful completion of the Recruit Training Program, a probationary volunteer firefighter will be paid a one thousand two hundred dollar ($1200.00) lump sum payment.

  • To assure that a copy of the Basic Recruit Training Curriculum is provided to each student prior to or during the time the student is enrolled in a given course.

  • An officer assigned the responsibility of Coach Officer under the Ontario Police College Recruit Training Program, or any other Recruit Training Program, shall receive sixty hours of non-cashable lieu days.
