Record Locator definition

Record Locator means the file reference of a PNR stored in Participant's System.

  • IATA standard AIRIMP Option 2 messaging with Dual Record Locator such that Codeshare Flight bookings are synchronized.

  • The first check searches the OA RLOC (Other Airline Record Locator) Index for the originating airline’s RLOC; if the PNR is not found, the system will attempt to retrieve the PNR via flight, name, date.
