Recognised Accreditation Scheme means any of the following diversity accreditation schemes: (a) Investors in Diversity; (b)
Recognised Accreditation Scheme means any of the following diversity accreditation schemes: (a) Investors in Diversity; (b) Clear Assured; (c) National Equality Standards; (d) Diversity Development Standard; (e) Inclusive Employers; and/or such other scheme as the Secretary of State may designate as a Recognised Accreditation Scheme from time to time;

  • Accreditation body means an entity that has been approved by FDA to accredit mammography facilities.

  • Accreditation means accreditation as defined in point 10 of Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008;

  • approved blood scheme means a scheme established or approved by the Secretary of State, or trust established with funds provided by the Secretary of State, for the purpose of providing compensation in respect of a person having been infected from contaminated blood products;

  • national accreditation body means national accreditation body as defined in point 11 of Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008;

  • certification scheme means the ‘Human Services Scheme Part 1 – Common requirements for bodies certifying Human Services’ and ‘Human Services Scheme Part 2 – Additional requirements for bodies certifying Human Services in Queensland’ approved by XXX-ANZ under which bodies accredited by XXX-ANZ can, through Certification Audits, certify and re-certify that an organisation is delivering human services in compliance with the Quality Standards, published on the website at xxx.xxx-anz.com.au or such other website as We may from time to time notify You;

  • Insurance Regulatory Authority means, with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the insurance department or similar Governmental Authority charged with regulating insurance companies or insurance holding companies, in its jurisdiction of domicile and, to the extent that it has regulatory authority over such Insurance Subsidiary, in each other jurisdiction in which such Insurance Subsidiary conducts business or is licensed to conduct business.

  • Safety Authorisation and “deemed Safety Authorisation” have the meanings given to “safety authorisation” and “deemed safety authorisation” by the Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006;

  • the Scottish Infected Blood Support Scheme means the scheme of that name administered by the Common Services Agency (constituted under section 10 of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978(b));

  • Participating Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist means a Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Relevant Electric Retail Regulatory Authority means an entity that has jurisdiction over and establishes prices and policies for competition for providers of retail electric service to end- customers, such as the city council for a municipal utility, the governing board of a cooperative utility, the state public utility commission or any other such entity.

  • Securities Regulatory Authorities means the securities commission or similar regulatory authority in each province and territory of Canada that is responsible for administering the Canadian securities legislation in force in such jurisdictions;

  • Pension Scheme means a contract, an agreement, a trust deed or rules stipulating which retirement benefits are granted and under which conditions;

  • Non-Participating Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist means a Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) means the Government Agency responsible for oversight of public procurement.

  • Pension Schemes means the Nord Anglia Joint Pension Scheme, the Wyburn School Limited Pension Life Assurance Scheme (1985) and the Lifetime Pension Scheme, and “Pension Scheme” means any one of them.

  • Applicable Insurance Regulatory Authority means the insurance department or similar insurance regulatory or administrative authority or agency of the jurisdiction in which the Company is domiciled.

  • Certificate of accreditation means a certificate issued by an accrediting body to a licensed testing laboratory, entity, or site to be registered in the state.

  • Labour Commissioner means the individual appointed as Labour Commissioner in terms of in section 120;

  • Marketing Authorisation means any approval (including all applicable pricing and governmental reimbursement approvals) required from the FDA or relevant Competent Authority to market and sell a Product in a particular country.

  • Drug abuse means any pattern of pathological use of drugs that causes impairment in social or occupational functioning, or that produces physiological dependency evidenced by physical tolerance or by physical symptoms when it is withdrawn.

  • national competent authority means any national competent authority as defined in Article 2(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013;

  • securities regulatory authority or “SRA” means a body created by statute in any Canadian or foreign jurisdiction to administer securities law, regulation and policy (e.g. securities commission), but does not include an exchange or other self regulatory entity;

  • CFDA means the Code of Federal Domestic Assistance assigned to a federal grant.

  • Foreign Financial Regulatory Authority shall have the meaning given by Section 2(a)(50) of the 0000 Xxx.

  • relevant planning authority means the district planning authority for the area in which the land to which the relevant provision of this Order applies is situated;

  • Central Commission means the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission referred to in sub-section (1) of section 76 of the Act;
