Recirculating type of system, using a cooling tower, shall be used. Main components of each cooling water system specified in this section, are: circulating water pumps, pump structure, circulating water piping, cooling tower, cooling water heat exchanger and auxiliary closed cooling water pumps. Size and basic design parameters of the main components of each cooling water system shall be based on "optimum" capital and operating costs and shall meet the performance requirements established for the condenser and steam turbine at vendor guaranteed load conditions.
