Receipt Register definition

Receipt Register means the register maintained by the Depositary for the registration of transfer, combination and split-up of Receipts, and, in the case of Direct Registration Receipts, shall include the Direct Registration System.

The term "Shares" shall mean the ordinary shares in the capital of the Company. References to Shares shall include evidence of rights to receive Shares, whether or not stated in the particular instance; provided that in no event shall shares include evidence of rights to receive Shares with respect to which the full purchase price has not been paid.   • The Depositary may close the Receipt Register at any time or from time to time, when deemed expedient by it in connection with the performance of its duties hereunder or at the request of the Company.

  • All other notices to be given to any Holder shall be deemed to have been duly given if given by mail, first-class postage prepaid, to each Holder at such Holder's address as it appears in the Receipt Register.
