Receipt of Order definition

Receipt of Order means, if personally delivered, at the time of delivery; if sent by facsimile, at the time of transmission; if posted, at the expiration of 48 hours or (in the case of airmail seven days) after the envelope containing the same was delivered into the custody of the postal authorities; and if sent by electronic mail, provided that a telephone call is made to the recipient warning the recipient that an electronic mail message has been sent to him (as evidenced by a contemporaneous note of the Party sending the notice) and a hard copy of such notice is also sent by first class recorded delivery post (airmail if overseas) on the same day as that on which the electronic mail is sent;
