recapture rate definition

recapture rate means, during each month, the ratio of (i) the aggregate unpaid principal balance of all recaptured mortgage loans, to (ii) the aggregate unpaid principal balance of all mortgage loans for which the Company held the MSRs and that were refinanced or otherwise paid off in such month.
