Reassimilation definition
Reassimilation means the integration and reincorporation of the child back into the culture, economy, and social milieu of the staff member’s home country. There can be no “reassimilation” unless the child has first left the staff member’s home country to live with the staff member parent in the duty station and has enrolled in at least one year of academic study in the duty station prior to returning to the home country to continue his/her academic studies there.
