Reasonable use exception (RUE) definition
Reasonable use exception (RUE) is a means of relief that is available for a property that is encumbered to such an extent by critical areas and/or critical area buffers that application of this chapter would deny all reasonable use of the subject property, as further defined by the decision criteria of BIMC 16.20.080.
