Reasonable Repairs Clause Samples

The Reasonable Repairs clause defines the responsibility for making necessary repairs to a property to maintain its condition or address issues that arise during a contractual period. Typically, this clause outlines which party—such as a landlord or tenant, or a buyer or seller—is obligated to perform or pay for repairs that are considered reasonable, often excluding major structural work or damage caused by negligence. Its core function is to ensure that the property remains in good condition and to prevent disputes by clarifying the scope and limits of repair obligations during the agreement.
