Reasonable Dispatch definition

Reasonable Dispatch. ’ means the per- formance of transportation, excluding transportation provided under tariff provisions requiring guaranteed service dates, on the dates or during the period of time agreed upon by the carrier and the shipper and shown on the Order For Service/Bill of Lading, Provided, That the defenses of force majeure as con- strued by the courts shall not be denied the carrier.
Reasonable Dispatch means the performance of transportation on the dates or during the period of time agreed upon by the carrier and the consumer and shown on the estimate or the bill of lading in the event no written estimate was prepared and recorded on the estimate or bill of lading, provided however, that the defense of force majeure as construed by the courts shall not be denied the carrier.
