Reactive material definition

Reactive material means any substance which will vigorously and energetically react with water or other materials and thereby generate oxygen, combustible gas, excessive heat, or some other hazardous condition. Examples include calcium hypochlorite (HTH), diethylzine, and aluminum chloride.
