RE Project definition
RE Project or “Project” shall mean the renewable energy generation facility of Capacity of ………..[Insert capacity as per the committed Installed Capacity, separately for Wind, Solar PV, any other renewable energy generating source and ESS components] MW, located at [Insert names of Village(s), Tehsil(s), District(s) and State(s)] comprising RE power generating systems or a combination thereof, for supply of RE power, including ESS, if any (which may be leased/tied-up from a third-party), having single or multiple point(s) of injection into the grid at Interconnection/ Delivery/ Metering Point, or in case of sharing of transmission lines, by separate injection at Pooling Point and having separate control systems and metering, The Project shall include all units and auxiliaries such as water supply, treatment or storage facilities; bay/s for transmission system in the switchyard, dedicated transmission line up to the Delivery Point and all the other assets, buildings/structures, equipment, plant and machinery, facilities and related assets required for the efficient and economic operation of the power generation facility; whether completed or at any stage of development and construction or intended to be developed and constructed for the purpose of supply of power as per this Agreement. It may be noted that the sources of generation and ESS, may be co- located, or may be located at different locations, to be considered a single Project. However, it is clarified that ESS charged using a source other than RE power would not qualify as RE power. In case the ESS component is located separately from the RE power generating components of a Project, the charges for charging the ESS will be borne by the RPD under GNA regulations and other orders issued by MoP/CERC in this regard. It is clarified that arithmetic summation of the rated capacities of Wind, Solar PV and other renewable power generating components of the Project can be more than the Contracted Capacity.

RE Project or “Project” or “Project Capacity” shall mean the renewable energy generation facility of Capacity of ………..[Insert capacity as per RTC Configuration, separately for Wind and Solar] MW, located at ……………….[Insert names of Village(s), Tehsil(s), District(s) and State(s)] comprising wind and/or solar power generating systems , for supply of RE power, including ESS, if any, complemented / balanced with Power from any other source(s) as detailed under Appendix-A, having single or multiple point(s) of injection into the grid at Interconnection/ Delivery/ Metering Point, or in case of sharing of transmission lines, by separate injection at Pooling Point and having separate control system, metering, and single or multiple point(s) of injection into the grid at Delivery/Interconnection/Metering point at ISTS substation or in case of sharing of transmission lines, by separate injection at pooling point.. This includes all units and auxiliaries such as water supply, treatment or storage facilities; bay/s for transmission system in the switchyard, dedicated transmission line up to the Delivery Point and all the other assets, buildings/structures, equipment, plant and machinery, facilities and related assets required for the efficient and economic operation of the power generation facility; whether completed or at any stage of development and construction or intended to be developed and constructed for the purpose of supply of power as per this Agreement. It may be noted that the sources of generation and ESS, if any, may be co-located, or may be located at different locations, to be considered a single Project. However, it is clarified that ESS charged using a source other than RE power would not qualify as RE power. Further, the ESS offered with a Project should only be charged from RE power capacity. For avoidance of any doubt, ESS offered as a part of RE Project should be charged with RE power capacity. The same RE power shall either be considered for getting compensation in case of curtailment or for charging of ESS. In case of power being injected from the ESS (whether co-located with RE component or not), ISTS charges and losses beyond the Delivery Point, if any, will be borne by the Discom(s). It must be noted that in case the ESS is charged from non- RE power, such ESS will be construed to be the non-RE component. Examples of RE Project in a sentence
On 16 June 2025 (after trading hours), GNSR Company (an indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary of the Company) and GSZ Company entered into the Entrusted Construction Management Agreement for the purpose of facilitating the Huocun Interchange R&E Project.
The Huocun Interchange is an interchange hub, connecting (i) the Approved Road Section R&E Project, which is invested by GSZ Company; (ii) the Guangzhou North Second Ring R&E Project, which is invested by Guangzhou North Second Ring Company and (iii) Guangzhou East Second Ring Expressway.

More Definitions of RE Project
RE Project means the Renewable Energy power project / Generating Systems with Energy Storage Systems (ESS), as the case may be. It is clarified that ESS charged using a source other than RE power would not qualify as RE;
RE Project means a Grid Interactive Wind-solar Hybrid Power Project to be established/already established by the successful bidder in Madhya Pradesh comprising of number of units at single location connected at common pooling substation, and shall include land, buildings, plant, machinery, ancillary equipment, material, switch-gear, transformers, protection equipment and the like necessary to deliver the Electricity generated by the Project to GAIL at the Delivery Point.
