Rated Output definition

Rated Output means the design capability of the Project which is projected to be 5,000 kW.
Rated Output means the value of the output included in the rating. For a motor it means the mechanical power available at the motor shaft under rated operating conditions. It is expressed in kilo-Watts (kW) in countries following the metric system, and in horsepower (hp) in other countries.

Examples of Rated Output in a sentence

  • Assume the following: The Maximum Rated Output for the ▇▇▇▇ is 25 MW.

  • The resulting Net Rated Output Capacity shall be used to determine the Contract Capacity, in accordance with Section 3.1(f)(i) above, and shall remain in effect until the next Capacity Test requested by Buyer.

  • Buyer shall have the right to request a Capacity Test as set forth in Appendix IV-3, to determine the Net Rated Output Capacity no more than one time per Contract Year.

  • The capacity of the Project at any time shall be the lower of the following: (A) the contract capacity in MW designated in the Cover Sheet or (B) the Net Rated Output Capacity of the Project (the “Contract Capacity”).

  • Assume the following: The Maximum Rated Output for the Facility is 25 MW.

  • Each individual Deration is transformed into equivalent full outage hour(s) by multiplying the actual duration of the Deration (hours) by (i) the size of the reduction (MW) divided by (ii) Maximum Rated Output.

  • This is calculated by multiplying the actual duration of the Deration (hours) by (i) the size of the reduction (MW) divided by (ii) the Maximum Rated Output.

  • Each event that counts as ExcludedTime is transformed into equivalent full outage hour(s) by multiplying the actual duration of the event by the size of the reduction (MW) and dividing by Maximum Rated Output.

  • Seller shall not make any alteration or modification to the Project which results in a change to the Net Rated Output Capacity or the anticipated output of the Project without Buyer’s prior written consent.

  • Each individual Unplanned Deration is transformed into equivalent full outage hour(s) by multiplying the actual duration of the Deration (hours) by (i) the size of the reduction (MW) divided by (ii) the Maximum Rated Output.

Related to Rated Output

  • Rated Voltage means voltage at which the Transmission System is designed to operate or such lower voltage at which the line is charged, for the time being, in consultation with the Central Transmission Utility;

  • Forced Outage means any unplanned reduction or suspension of the electrical output from the Facility resulting in the unavailability of the Facility, in whole or in part, in response to a mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic control system trip or operator-initiated trip in response to an alarm or equipment malfunction and any other unavailability of the Facility for operation, in whole or in part, for maintenance or repair that is not a scheduled maintenance outage and not the result of Force Majeure.

  • Planned Outage means the removal of equipment from service availability for inspection and/or general overhaul of one or more major equipment groups. To qualify as a Planned Outage, the maintenance (a) must actually be conducted during the Planned Outage, and in Seller’s sole discretion must be of the type that is necessary to reliably maintain the Project, (b) cannot be reasonably conducted during Project operations, and (c) causes the generation level of the Project to be reduced by at least ten percent (10%) of the Contract Capacity.

  • Generator Forced Outage means an immediate reduction in output or capacity or removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit by reason of an Emergency or threatened Emergency, unanticipated failure, or other cause beyond the control of the owner or operator of the facility, as specified in the relevant portions of the PJM Manuals. A reduction in output or removal from service of a generating unit in response to changes in market conditions shall not constitute a Generator Forced Outage.

  • Excused Outage means any disruption to or unavailability of Services caused by or due to (i) Scheduled Maintenance,
