rate payer definition
rate payer means the person who is liable to pay under section 8 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1975, as amended, an amount in respect of non-domestic rates;
rate payer means any owner of rateable property as well as any owner of a rateable property held under sectional title, situate within the area of jurisdiction of the Council;
rate payer means a person who is liable to the Municipality for the payment of (a) rates on property in the Municipality; (b) any other tax, duty or levy imposed by the Municipality; and/or (c) fees for services provided either by the Municipality or in terms of a service delivery agreement.
