Rate Code definition

Rate Code means a numerical code designated by AHCCCS to indicate a member's eligibility category.

Examples of Rate Code in a sentence

  • Employees who perform semi-skilled work including the operation of mechanized equipment such as trucks, plows, light-graders, backhoes, etc., will be paid Group V Emergency Rate (Code 5).

  • Employees who perform skilled work including the operation of heavy equipment or those employees who are assigned to be in charge of or supervise either semi-skilled or unskilled workers or both, will be paid Group IV Emergency Rate (Code 4).

  • Employees who are engaged in manual or unskilled work as by use of shovels, picks, axes, choppers, etc., will be paid Group VI Emergency Rate (Code 6).

  • Should that employee continue to be specially placed, they would be paid the rate of pay for the job they are currently doing to a minimum of Rate Code 80.

Related to Rate Code

  • Rate Protection means the payment of premiums for a defined period of time not exceeding 12 months, in advance of a rate increase that will not require any further payments to cover any difference between the advance payment and the new premium rate.

  • Rate Ceiling The maximum per annum Mortgage Interest Rate permitted under the related Mortgage Note.
