Rain Date definition

Rain Date means a date when a rental is not used that is directly attributable to adverse weather conditions.
Rain Date. If circumstances beyond the group's control (such as extreme weather) require cancellation of a session(s), please contact the Scheduler to see if a “rain date” can be worked into the calendar. □ Furniture: We prefer that benches in the Meeting room not be moved without prior permission. Other furniture that is used or borrowed from other rooms should be returned to their original place □ Restrooms: Please leave all restrooms as clean as you found them. □ Other commitments: We request that the signer either personally carry out the following responsibilities associated with the use of the Meeting House, or designate them to individuals in your group, so that the premises will be clean, secure, and in good order for the next user: • The building user may adjust heating or air conditioning as needed, but please return them to its original setting before leaving. To change the setting, open the cover of the thermostat to the right side of the main Meeting room. Press the Up arrow ↑ to raise the temperature and the Down arrow ↓ to lower the temperature. Press RUN PROGRAM to return to the original setting. • There is no smoking permitted in the building. We request that all users smoke only outdoors and that butts and other related litter be discarded in an ashtray or other designated container. • Consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on the premises. • Please do not leave trash, food or dirty dishes. □ Closing the building: Front and back doors and ALL windows should be closed/locked, including bathroom windows. Lights should be OFF. Turn off all fan, vent and sound system switches in the Meeting Room. □ Donations: The suggested donation helps defray the costs of operating and maintaining the building. It is the user's option whether to pay this in installments or with one check or money order. Please send payment to the above address, marked “Attention: Treasurer." To ensure proper credit include your name and the organization name on your check.
Rain Date. An agreed upon alternate date for the presentation of the Fireworks Display when unsafe weather conditions, as determined by the Display Operator, require the postponement of such Fireworks Display. Proposal: The Fireworks Display Proposal document attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference.

  • If the Licensee requests that the Concert, Market, or Movie Night be delayed or, if Rain Date Rider is attached, postponed to the Rain Date set forth in such rider, the Commissioner may approve such a delay or postponement if he determines the Concert, Market, Program, or Movie Night can be delayed or postponed without danger to the public and without causing damage to the Park.

  • The parties agree that in the event Display Operator determines that weather conditions require the postponement of the Fireworks Display, the Rain Date will be July 5, 2022, at the same location.

  • Display Operator agrees to perform the Fireworks Display, as described in the attached Proposal, on the date of JULY 4, 2017 or on the Rain Date identified in paragraph V below.

  • If the agreed-upon Rain Date or secondary Rain Date is scheduled at a time requiring Display Operator to tear down the Display and re-set-up the Display, Village agrees that it will pay Display Operator’s expenses incurred as a result of the postponement, not to exceed two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400.00).

Related to Rain Date

  • Flip-in Date means the tenth business day after any Stock Acquisition Date or such earlier or later date as the Board of Directors of the Company may from time to time fix by resolution adopted prior to the Flip-In Date that would otherwise have occurred.

  • Acquisition Date With respect to any REO Property, the first day on which such REO Property is considered to be acquired by the Trust Fund within the meaning of Treasury Regulations Section 1.856-6(b)(1), which is the first day on which the Trust Fund is treated as the owner of such REO Property for federal income tax purposes.

  • Restatement Date means the earlier to occur of (i) the date the Board, a committee of the Board or the officers of the Company authorized to take such action if Board action is not required, concludes, or reasonably should have concluded, that the Company is required to prepare an Accounting Restatement, or (ii) the date a court, regulator or other legally authorized body directs the Company to prepare an Accounting Restatement.
