Rail Equipment definition

Rail Equipment means any maintenance of way and work train equipment and other vehicles and machinery (such as hi-rail trucks) which are designed for operation on and are being operated on railroad tracks on Segment 1 or Segment 3.
Rail Equipment means one or more engines or rail cars that can be handled on their own wheels in a movement;
Rail Equipment means railroad cars, locomotives or other rolling stock, or accessories used on such railroad cars, locomotives or other rolling stock (including superstructures and racks).

Examples of Rail Equipment in a sentence

  • An Assistant Supervisor may supervise more than one (1) bargaining unit classification, as determined by the District, within the Bus Maintenance, Rail Equipment Maintenance, Rail Maintenance of Way, or Facilities Maintenance departments, respectively.

  • The District may apply the same overtime procedures practiced by the Rail Equipment Maintenance department to the Commuter Rail department.

  • Bus Maintenance, Rail Equipment Maintenance, Rail Maintenance of Way, Facilities Maintenance and Stores shall be deemed a single department for the purpose of this paragraph.
