As part of a federally mandated Quality Improvement Strategy, Contractor must identify the mechanisms planned to promote improvements in health care quality and access to care, population health outcomes, and making care more affordable for each Quality Improvement Strategy initiative listed in the Covered California Quality Improvement Strategy (QIS) Section of the Qualified Health Plan Certification Applications.
