QET definition

QET means a “qualifying environmental trust” as that term is defined in subsection 211.6(1) of the Tax Act;
QET means a quasi-extinction threshold; below which a population is projected to become extinct.
QET means a qualifying environmental trust as defined in the Tax Act, subsection 248(1), established by a trust agreement for the sole purpose of funding the reclamation obligations of a Resource Company in respect of a QET Property.

  • No amendment to the terms of the Trust and the terms of this Agreement is binding or effective unless the Tribunal approves the amendment and such amendment does not cause the Trust to not be or cease to be a QET.
