PY-1 definition

PY-1. (“BF-1”) means the financial year immediately preceding PY;

Examples of PY-1 in a sentence

  • The national Medicare performance percentile will be equal to the national Medicare 75th percentile used for the Medicare Shared Savings Program quality measure benchmarks for PY1.

  • Employees in PY1 and PY2 will demonstrate at least minimal service in each evaluation period.

  • Though the ACPT is fixed for a five-year period, the annual ACPT rate in any given PY is not necessarily the same as the rate in other PYs (e.g., the ACPT may be 3% for PY1, 2.5% for PY2, 3.2% for PY3, etc.).

  • A determination by CMS that the State has failed to implement the Medicaid Hospital Global Budget prior to the end of PY1 or for any subsequent PYs.

  • For PY1, the PMPM calculated in 4d above will be inflated to account for rate increases that went into effect November 1, 2013 which are also in effect in CY 2014 (PY1).

  • For PY1, the PMPM calculated in Step 6 (above) will be inflated to account for the November 1, 2013 rate increase which will be in effect in CY 2014 (PY1).

  • A non-retention decision in PY1 and PY2 cannot be based on Scholarly/Professional or Service Activities.

  • This milestone’s performance for any given Performance Year will be measured according to measure specifications for NCQA HEDIS measure “Medication Management for People with Asthma.” The State’s performance will be measured against healthcare plans nationally using performance data for HEDIS measure “Medication Management for People with Asthma” recorded in the NCQA’s Quality Compass data for PY1.

  • Subject to CMS’ approval, the State may propose alternative primary care measure(s) for implementation in PY1 and subsequent PYs.

  • On or before May 1, 2025, the State may propose to CMS one or more measures that are not included in Table 1 or Table 2 of Appendix G as one of the State’s selected measures for use in PY1.
