Publicizing definition

Publicizing means to disseminate information in a public forum so that potential vendors are informed of the agency’s need, and the agency’s proposed contract action. As the value of the anticipated acquisition increases, agencies have to meet more stringent requirements to ensure the proposed contract action is disseminated to the public.
