Prudential Norms definition

Prudential Norms means liquidity and solvency norms for commercial banks contained in the Core Principles for Effective Banking Supervision, as published by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision in October 2006 and revised from time to time, and solvency and asset coverage norms for insurance companies contained in the Insurance Core Principles and Methodology, as adopted by the International Association of Insurance Supervisors in October 2003 and revised from time to time.
