Prudent Expert definition
Prudent Expert means a fiduciary responsibility to discharge one’s duties to DPERS with such skill, care, prudence and diligence under circumstances then prevailing, solely in the interests of participants and their beneficiaries, that a prudent person familiar with or having expertise in such matters would use in the conduct of an enterprise with similar characteristics and aims.
