Provider Disabling Device definition

Provider Disabling Device means any software, hardware, or other technology, device, or means (including any back door, time bomb, time out, drop dead device, software routine, or other disabling device) used by Provider or its designee to disable Customer's or any Authorized User's access to or use of the Services automatically with the passage of time or under the positive control of Provider or its designee.

Related to Provider Disabling Device

  • Disabling Event means the General Partner ceasing to be the general partner of the Partnership pursuant to Section 17-402 of the Act.

  • Hosted Service means the provision of and access to the Vocera Care Transition Software and related services either at your site and/or via secure electronic access over the Internet provided to you by Vocera and/or its designee. Defined terms used in this XXXX, but not defined herein, are defined in the Supplemental Terms and Conditions in Attachment 3.

  • Disabling Code means any virus, back door, timer or other limiting routine, instruction or design, or other malicious, illicit or similar unrequested code that may have the consequence (whether by design or unintentionally) of disrupting, disabling, harming, circumventing security controls or otherwise impeding in any manner the normal operation or performance of (i) any software or service or (ii) any UNICEF information system or network.

  • war disablement pension means any retired pay or pension or allowance payable in respect of disablement under an instrument specified in section 639(2) of the Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act 2003;

  • Permanent Total Disablement means a bodily injury caused by accidental, external, violent and visible means, which as a direct consequence thereof totally disables and prevents the insured from attending to any business or occupation of any and every kind or if he/she has no business or occupation, from attending to his/her usual and normal duties that last for a continuous period of twelve calendar months from the date of the accident, with no hopes of improvement in future

  • Disabling Conduct shall have the meaning designated in Section 8.4 hereof.

  • Permanent Disablement means a disability falling under one of the items of disablement listed in the scale of compensation in this Policy under Section 1, which was caused by an Accident, as long as the disability lasts for twelve (12) consecutive months from the date of the Accident and at the expiry of that period our appointed Registered Medical Practitioner confirms that the disability is not going to improve after twelve (12) months.

  • Disability or Disabled means that during the Elimination Period and your Own Occupation Period you are, as a result of Physical Disease, Injury, Mental Disorder, Substance Abuse or Pregnancy, unable to perform one or more of the Material Duties of your Own Occupation, and, due to such inability, your Work Earnings are less than 80% of your Indexed Predisability Earnings, and you are incapable of earning 80% or more of your Indexed Predisability Earnings. Your Work Earnings may be Deductible Income. See the “LTD Benefit Calculation” and “Deductible Income” sections.

  • Service-disabled veteran-owned business means a service-disabled veteran-owned business located in the State of Tennessee that satisfies the criteria in Tenn. Code. Ann. § 12-3-1102(8). "Service-disabled veteran" means any person who served honorably in active duty in the armed forces of the United States with at least a twenty percent (20%) disability that is service-connected, i.e., the disability was incurred or aggravated in the line of duty in the active military, naval or air service.

  • Hosted Software means Samsara’s web-based software platform, including the interface accessed online at cloud.samsara.com.

  • Service-connected disability means a disability incurred or aggravated in the line of duty in the active military, naval, or air service as described in 38 USC 101(16).

  • Software Updates means the Software releases, service packs, build updates or emergency fixes released from time to time in accordance with the Vocera’s update policy for such Software.

  • Disablement shall have the same meaning as disablement is defined in the Intel Long Term Disability Plan, which is generally a physical condition arising from an illness or injury, which renders an individual incapable of performing work in any occupation, as determined by the Corporation.

  • Virus any thing or device (including any software, code, file or program) which may prevent, impair or otherwise adversely affect the access to or operation, reliability or user experience of any computer software, hardware or network, telecommunications service, equipment or network or any other service or device, including worms, trojan horses, viruses and other similar things or devices.

  • Service Software means any and all software applications and any third-party or other software, and all new versions, updates, revisions, improvements and modifications of the foregoing, that Contractor provides remote access to and use of as part of the Services.
