Protection Transaction definition

Protection Transaction means any protection transaction entered into by the Issuer and a Protection Provider from time to time (including but not limited to any hedging agreements and/or asset purchase or repurchase agreements and/or any sort of financial guarantees), with a view to protect the amount of interest and/or principal in whole or in part that the Issuer may have agreed to pay to the Noteholders on the relevant Redemption Date or on any other date or period as may be set out in the applicable Final Terms.

Examples of Protection Transaction in a sentence

  • Interest Charges on Cash Advances, Overdraft Protection Transactions, and Special Advances (consisting of Promotional Check transactions and Promotional Balance Transfer transactions) will be imposed at the applicable Monthly Periodic Rates from the date each Cash Advance, Overdraft Protection Transaction, Promotional Check transaction or Promotional Balance Transfer transaction is made, and will continue to accrue on unpaid balances as long as it remains unpaid.

  • Similarly, if a Transfer as provided in Section 2.4 precedes a Price Protection Transaction, the Purchase Price for purposes of the Price Protection Transaction shall be increased by an amount equal to the sum obtained by dividing the aggregate amount paid to the Vendor pursuant to Section 2.4 prior to the Price Protection Transaction by the number of Purchased Units.

  • The documents and other confirming evidence exchanged between the parties to the Master Agreement or otherwise effective for the purpose of confirming or evidencing the specific terms of the Credit Protection Transaction.

Related to Protection Transaction

  • Termination Transaction has the meaning set forth in Section 11.2.B hereof.

  • Formation Transactions means the transactions contemplated by this Agreement and the other Formation Transaction Documentation.

  • Pawn transaction means the same as that term is defined in Section 13-32a-102.

  • Separation Transaction means the sale or separation of the non-television business of the Holding Company in whole or in part, whether by asset sale or otherwise.

  • Separation Transactions has the meaning set forth in the Separation and Distribution Agreement.
