Proof evident definition
Proof evident means evidence that is “clear and strong, leading a well-guarded and dispassionate judgment to the conclusions that 1) the offense of capital murder has been committed; 2) that the accused is the guilty party; and 3) the jury will both convict the accused and will return findings requiring a death sentence.” Angleton v.
