Project XL definition

Project XL means the federal Project for eXcellence and Leadership or a federally approved facility- or community-based regulatory reinvention (XL) pilot project, as such are described in the Federal Register notices of May 23, 1995 (60 Fed. Reg. 27282) and November 1, 1995 (60 Fed. Reg. 55569).

Project XL stands for Excellence and Leadership. Andersen has established a Community Advisory Committee representing and involving stakeholders with a direct interest in the project. The Andersen Stakeholder Involvement Plan establishes a process for informing and involving a variety of people and organizations interested in the company’s development of a Project XL initiative. The Stakeholder Involvement Plan is designed to be modified to respond to and meet changing conditions throughout the Project XL process.
