Project EMP definition

Project EMP means an environmental management plan to be prepared, as the case may be, by the Project Implementing Entity and satisfactory to the Association, in respect of activities under Parts A and B of the Project, and as required by Section I.D.2 of the Schedule to the Project Agreement, describing the environmental issues, mitigation, monitoring and institutional measures for such activities.
Project EMP means the environmental management plan to be prepared by KEK, and satisfactory to the Association, in respect of the activities and investments to be undertaken by KEK under Part E of the Project, and as required by Section II of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, describing the environmental issues, mitigation, monitoring and institutional measures for the related activities and investments, as the same may be amended and supplemented from time to time with the Association’s prior written approval;

Examples of Project EMP in a sentence

  • In case the Project Implementing Entity shall determine that any works under Part I or Part II of the Project might entail any adverse environmental and social impacts, then prior to the commencement of such works under Part I or Part II of the Project, the Project Implementing Entity shall carry out a Project EIA and a Project EMP, as the case may be, satisfactory to the Association, in accordance with the provisions of the Operational Manual.

  • Provide a summary of the reviews of the environmental and social aspects of the Project and provide a copy of the current Project EMP (s), as needed, with identification of all changes, amendments, integrations approved.

  • The Consultants shall liaise closely with the Electrical and Mechanical Project (E&MP) Division, Sewage Treatment (ST) Divisions and the Mainland North (MN) Division of DSD and with all relevant parties responsible for the works at DSD which have interface with the Project, assess the effects on the works and programme and made recommendations to resolve the interfacing problems.
