Project-Based Vouchers definition

Project-Based Vouchers or “PBV” shall have the meaning set forth in 24 CFR Part 983.
Project-Based Vouchers means housing choice vouchers held by the City and/or Authority pursuant to annual and/or multi-year contribution contract(s) with HUD, which may be used to assist specific housing units as authorized by Section 8(o)(13) of the U.S. Housing Act of l937 (42 U.S.C. Section 1437f(o)(13)) and the implementing regulations set forth at 24 CFR Part 983, as such law and regulations now exist and as they may hereafter be amended.

Examples of Project-Based Vouchers in a sentence

  • In the event of federal cuts to the Housing Choice Voucher (a/k/a Section 8) program, the FCRHA will prioritize the funding of any Project-Based Vouchers awarded to the Project in accordance with and subject to Section 8 laws, rules, and regulations.

  • The plan will subsidize twenty-five units through WHA with Project-Based Vouchers for chronically homeless, disabled individuals.

  • Newtowne Court will be converted to Project-Based Vouchers (PBV) under the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program.

  • Development Owner may not accept another source of funds, including but not limited to Project-Based Vouchers, without written Department approval.

  • Contractor and subcontractors awarded construction projects in connection with the awarding of Project-Based Vouchers (PBV) must comply with the requirements of the ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), 29 CFR Part 5, and other federal laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards where the project consists of nine (9) or more PBV assisted units.

  • The CHA and its affiliate(s) will operate all the housing units at Newtowne Court as family housing using RAD Project-Based Vouchers in the same manner as the CHA' s current operation of federal public housing under Moving to Work.

  • At a minimum, the existing cash flow must be supplemented with Project-Based Vouchers (PBVs), as made available by HUD and SFHA, and such PBV income should be at a level to permit permanent debt.

  • The Authority hereby agrees to provide Project-Based Vouchers to all of the Housing Units of the Project subject to the Conditions Precedent.

  • Developer acknowledges that the Project will be funded from monies from the Permanent NHS Consortium Loan, the CDFI Loan and the Authority’s HOME Program funds and its operation will be assisted with the Project-Based Vouchers under the PBV Program.

  • At a minimum, the existing cash flow must be supplemented with Project-Based Vouchers (PBVs), as made available by HUD and SFHA.

Related to Project-Based Vouchers

  • Detailed Specifications means the specifications for materials and works as specified in PWD BSR/ issued under the authority of PWD/ or as implied/added to or superseded by the special conditions.

  • Project Schedule means a document that, with respect to each Phase of the Project, identifies, coordinates and integrates the anticipated design and construction schedules, the Contracting Authority’s and Owner's responsibilities, government authority reviews and other activities as are necessary for the timely completion of the Work.

  • Project Budget means the budget and project description included in the grant application. The Project Budget must succinctly describe all major elements of project work, the estimated cost of each and clearly allocate requested grant funding and match contributions to each.

  • The Contract Price/ Project Cost means the price payable to the Vendor under the Contract for the full and proper performance of its contractual obligations.

  • Design Criteria Package means concise, performance-oriented drawings or specifications for a public construction project. The purpose of the Design Criteria Package is to furnish sufficient information to permit Design-Build Firms to prepare a bid or a response to the District’s Request for Proposals, or to permit the District to enter into a negotiated Design- Build Contract. The Design Criteria Package must specify performance- based criteria for the public construction project, including the legal description of the site, survey information concerning the site, interior space requirements, material quality standards, schematic layouts and conceptual design criteria of the project, cost or budget estimates, design and construction schedules, site development requirements, provisions for utilities, stormwater retention and disposal, and parking requirements applicable to the project. Design Criteria Packages shall require firms to submit information regarding the qualifications, availability, and past work of the firms, including the partners and members thereof.
