Programming Code definition

Programming Code means a code of practice for both radio and television broadcasters, setting the standards for the time and manner of programmes to be broadcast by a licensee prescribed by or approved by the Authority
Programming Code. This contract entitles the Client full rights and access to the use of the database application(s) residing on servers hosted and/or controlled by DataMine and accessible via web-based administrative tool(s) developed for that purpose. The source code, data structures, and associated programming is intellectual property, and as such belongs to DataMine. The proprietary code and property rights can be purchased at a negotiated rate not less than 2 ½ times the total cost of development. DataMine has full rights of ownership to use and reproduce any code it has developed or improved for future projects so long as the activity does not compromise or divulge confidential information of the Client.
Programming Code means computer programming code, including (i) the machine-readable form thereof (“Object Code”), (ii) the human-readable form thereof and related system documentation, including all comments and any procedural code (“Source Code”), and (iii) any modifications, revisions, or additions to either Object Code or Source Code, including all new releases, that improve functions, add new functions, improve performance, correct errors, support new releases of operating systems with which computer programming code is designed to operate, support new input/output devices, or provide any other incidental corrections or updates.

  • Broadcaster indemnifies the HSPL from any violation of Programming Code, Advertising Code set by the statutory bodies, Intellectual Property of any third party which it might have violated during broadcast and carried over HSPL Network.
