Program Uses definition

Program Uses means the application of payments received on a Tuition Certificate issued in an Effective Year to purchase Educational Services for a Qualifying Beneficiary at a Participating Institution in a Qualifying Year or Post Maturity Year.
Program Uses means costs associated with transit ridership support (e.g. transit passes), non-infrastructure related active transportation projects (safe routes to schools) and programs designed to reduce GHG and vehicle-related Criteria Air Pollutants as defined in Section 104. Programs may not include operating costs.

Examples of Program Uses in a sentence

  • After the beginning of the sixth academic year following the Maturity Date of a Tuition Certificate, MEFA will notify the Owner of any balance remaining in the Distribution Account relating to the applicable matured Tuition Certificate and such amount will be paid over to the Owner in accordance with the Owner’s instructions as though the Owner had made a withdrawal for a purpose other than Program Uses.

  • When the proceeds of a Tuition Certificate are applied to Program Uses for the benefit of a designated Qualifying Beneficiary, any Excess Proceeds will be applied solely as provided in Section 6.04 of the EnrollmentAgreement.
