Program reduction definition

Program reduction is defined as the elimination or merger of degree programs, departments of instruction, or colleges, which is a function of the University in its regular review of enrollments, departments and programs, resource allocation and strategic planning.
Program reduction means the Academic Program continues to exist, but at a reduced level of activity (e.g., reducing the range of optional tracks or majors) in accordance with the outcome of a program review performed pursuant to BOG Academic Rule 2.2 – Program Creation and Review.
