Professional Expert definition

Professional Expert. In accordance with Education Code Section 88003, Professional Experts shall not be part of the classified service. Professional Experts are described as having some unique or greater education/experience than that required of employees in regular classified service, and that the work performed by Professional Experts is usually considered to be unique, or special, for a specific project.
Professional Expert. As defined by California Education Code Section 88003. • RECLASSIFICATION: The upgrading of a position to a higher classification as a result of the gradual increase of the duties being performed by the incumbent in that position (California Education Code, Section 88001(f)).
Professional Expert means any person who is employed on a temporary basis for a specific project, regardless of length of employment.
