Professional Allowance definition

Professional Allowance means an advantage, in the form of money, services or educational materials, that is provided by a manufacturer to a provider for the purposes of direct patient care, including for any of the following:
Professional Allowance means the amount established by the PLAN, based on an analysis of physician charges, as the maximum amount allowed for physician services covered under the terms of the Subscriber’s Contract/Certificate.

Examples of Professional Allowance in a sentence

  • OC shall publish, with other College policies, the Guidelines for the Professional Allowance Fund agreed to by OC and the Association.

  • A Professional Allowance Fund is established for the purpose of assisting eligible employees to maintain currency and competency and to offset the cost of expenses including, but not limited to, subscriptions to scholarly journals, books, computer software, computer or other equipment and professional dues.

  • On each July 1st, OC shall deposit a sum equal to 40% of Step 1 of the salary scale into a jointly administered fund to be known as the Professional Allowance Fund.

  • On July 1st, 2014 and July ▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇ shall deposit the sum of $35,000 into a jointly administered fund to be known as the Professional Allowance Fund.

  • The Travel and Professional Allowance Fund for Full-time Employees shall be divided among Departments, Schools, and the University Library in proportion to the number of filled full-time Employee positions in each.

  • The Travel and Professional Allowance Fund for part-time Employees shall be divided among Departments, Schools, and the Research Services Sector in proportion to the number of part-time Employee positions in each.

  • For the fiscal years beginning 1 April 2014, 1 April 2015, and 1 April 2016, the Board shall provide a sum of $12,000 as a Travel and Professional Allowance Fund for part-time Employees.

  • On each July 1st OC shall deposit the sum of $35,000 into a jointly administered fund to be known as the Professional Allowance Fund.

  • Applications for the research grant must meet the criteria set out for Professional Allowance (4.52 #3).

  • Unused amounts in the Professional Allowance may be carried over into the next calendar year of a current appointment.
