Procuring Entity’s Country definition

Procuring Entity’s Country is the country specified in the Special Conditions of Contract (SCC). “Procuring Entity” means the entity purchasing the Goods and Related Services, as specified in the SCC. “Registration Certificate” means the certificate of registration or other documents in lieu thereof establishing that the Goods supplied under the Contract are registered for use in the Procuring Entity’s country in accordance with the Applicable Law. “Related Services” means the services incidental to the supply of the goods, such as insurance, installation, training and initial maintenance and other such obligations of the Supplier under the Contract. “SCC” means the Special Conditions of Contract. “Supplier” means the person, private or government entity, or a combination of the above, whose bid to perform the Contract has been accepted by the Procuring Entity and is named as such in the Contract Agreement. “The Project Site,” where applicable, means the place named in the SCC.
Procuring Entity’s Country is the country named in the SCC. (ii) “Supplier’s Country” is the country in which the Supplier is legally organized, as named in the Contract Agreement. (iii) “Project Site(s)” means the place(s) specified in the SCC for the supply and installation of the System. (iv) “Eligible Country” means the countries and territories eligible for participation in procurements financed by Government. (v) “Day” means calendar day of the Gregorian Calendar. (vi) “Week” means seven (7) consecutive Days, beginning the day of the week as is customary in the Procuring Entity’s Country. (vii) “Month” means calendar month of the Gregorian Calendar. (viii) “Year” means twelve (12) consecutive Months. (ix) “Effective Date” means the date of fulfillment of all conditions specified in Article 3 (Effective Date for Determining Time for Achieving Operational Acceptance) of the Contract Agreement, for the purpose of determining the Delivery, Installation, and Operational Acceptance dates for the System or Subsystem(s). (x) “Contract Period” is the time period during which this Contract governs the relations and obligations of the Procuring Entity and Supplier in relation to the System, as specified in the SCC. (xi) “Defect Liability Period” (also referred to as the “Warranty Period”) means the period of validity of the warranties given by the Supplier commencing at date of the Operational Acceptance Certificate of the System or Subsystem(s), during which the Supplier is responsible for defects with respect to the System (or the relevant Subsystem[s]) as provided in GCC Clause 29 (Defect Liability). (xii) “The Post-Warranty Services Period” means the number of years defined in the SCC (if any), following the expiration of the Warranty Period during which the Supplier may be obligated to provide Software licenses, maintenance, and/or technical support services for the System, either under this Contract or under separate contract(s). (xiii) “The Coverage Period” means the Days of the Week and the hours of those Days during which maintenance, operational, and/or technical support services (if any) must be available.

Examples of Procuring Entity’s Country in a sentence

  • The Contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Procuring Entity’s Country, unless otherwise specified in the SCC.

  • Insurance In accordance with the statutory requirements prevailing in the Procuring Entity’s Country, covering use of all vehicles used by the Supplier or its Subcontractors (whether or not owned by them) in connection with the execution of the Contract.

  • Such license to access and use the Software shall: (a) be: (i) nonexclusive; (ii) fully paid up and irrevocable (except that it shall terminate if the Contract terminates under GCC Clauses 41.1 or 41.3); (iii) valid throughout the territory of the Procuring Entity’s Country (or such other territory as specified in the SCC); and (iv) subject to additional restrictions (if any) as specified in the SCC.

  • Workers; Indemnification 36.1 The Supplier and each and every Subcontractor shall abide by the job safety, insurance, customs, and immigration measures prevalent and laws in force in the Procuring Entity’s Country.

  • All active equipment must include power plugs standard in [ insert: Procuring Entity’s Country ].

  • Unit prices of Goods offered from within the Procuring Entity’s Country, shall be quoted on an EXW (ex factory, ex works, ex warehouse or off-the-shelf, as applicable) basis, including all customs duties, levies, fees, sales and other taxes incurred until delivery of the Goods, but excluding all VAT or sales and other taxes and duties/fees incurred for the Goods at the time of invoicing or sales transaction, if the Contract is awarded.

Related to Procuring Entity’s Country

  • Procuring Entity means the Entity named in the Special Conditions of Contract.

  • The Procuring Entity means the organization purchasing the Goods, as named in the SCC.

  • Cooperating country means the country in which the employing USAID Mission is located.

  • Cooperating country national (“CCN”) means an individual who is a cooperating country citizen or a non-cooperating country citizen lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the cooperating country.

  • Insuring entity means an insurer as defined in chapter
