Probe mode definition

Probe mode means the officer fired the probes at the individual. “Drive stun mode” means the officer did not fire the probes, but rather manually brought the device into contact with the subject. Used in the probe mode, the device characteristically overrides the subject’s central nervous system. Used in the drive stun mode, however, the device functions essentially as a pain compliance tool.
