New employees shall be employed as either full-time, part-time, casual or Probational employees at point of engagement.
Probational employees shall not utilize paid sick leave allowance or personal days until they have successfully completed their six (6) month probationary period.
Full-Time Campus Police Officers Probational Status shall be for a period of two (2) year from the date of hire as a Full-Time Police Officer, regardless of any prior service in any capacity with the College, except that a Part Time Campus Police Officer who is made a Full Time Campus Police Officer shall only serve a total of two (2) years as his/her probationary period.
Probational employees responding with the FTO may receive overtime, in accordance with Article 20, Overtime, but shall not receive Standby Pay.
